Sayuri unsteadily got to her feet, dusting off her rear without taking her eyes off the new man; neither of them had even bothered to shut the door, but she hardly noticed. Sakura covered her mouth with a hand, stifling a bit of laughter as her children literally stumbled into the house.
"...I am your uncle Sojiro!"
At this, Sayuri lifted an eyebrow, her mouth opening to ask the obvious question--until Takashi asked it first. Instead, she listened, which was an odd thing for the girl to do in any situation. Her arms folded across her chest, and her head tilted to the side. She looked to her father, mouth opening to say something, yet at the expression on his face, and his turned away gaze, she fell short of words yet again. For once in her life, Sayuri had nothing to say.

Sojiro looked at the two of them for a moment before looking over at Toshiro. He stood there for a moment or two before looking back at the two siblings with an odd expression. "That's...not exactly how I pictured our first encounter, unfortunately..." he said, scratching the back of his head. He let off a small sigh and looked around the room.
"Understandable, I suppose."
He shrugged.
Takashi shook his head, "Please don't take it the wrong way! We're just shocked is all!" he said. "I mean...we're just now meeting you for the first time and we originally thought that dad didn't have any family..." he added. He laughed slightly and sat down. "So don't worry about it....be worried that Sayuri had nothing to say..." he said after a moment, looking over at her.
Toshiro raised an eyebrow.
"...it's the end of the world!"
Sojiro laughed. "I take it she's not normally this quiet?" he asked.

Sayuri fumed. "I was going to say something!" she blurted. The girl stood to her feet, quickly pointing at her brother. "He just got to the question before I did, that's all." Her arms folded, and she shifted to the side, easing into a seat in the room.
Sakura shook her head, sighing lightly. "Okay... Well..." she began, looking from her daughter to her newfound brother-in-law; "Say hello to your uncle, then; be nice." Sayuri eyed Sojiro for a few moments, then uttered a greeting, waving a hand at him briefly.

Sojiro scratched the back of his head for second or two, feeling slightly awkward. Eventually he shrugged it off and turned back around to face Toshiro. "Well mannered kid you've got there, big bro." he said with half a laugh. He paused for a moment, thinking of something. "...anyway, I'm bored and there's something I've been wanting to do for a long time." he said.
"Oh? What's that?" asked Toshiro.
Sojiro grinned.
"I've always wanted to fight you." he replied. He looked at his brother as he went from a look of surprise to one of interest. "What do you say, Toshiro? Care to step outside?" he asked. Toshiro thought about it for a moment before he finally nodded--he needed something to take his aggression out on.
"You got it."
With that said, Toshiro stood up and gestured for Sojiro to go first through the door. Sojiro nodded and stood up as well. "Well, this shouldn't take but a few moments...." he said, grinning widely and stepping outside, followed by his brother who passed by Takashi and patted him on the shoulder. The boy rolled his eyes, "...he was hoping for this..." he said.

Sakura shook her head, attempting to exchange a glance with her husband. Though she knew it wouldn't matter if she caught his eye or not; she could tell this was going to happen in the long run anyhow--it was just who Toshiro was, and it always had been. Seemed like it always would be.
Regardless, the woman lifted herself from her seat, folding her arms across her middle and following the men outside. Sayuri snickered a bit, following suit. At a questioning glance from her mother, she shrugged. "Dad's gonna tear the yard up again," she said nonchalantly, picking up her pace and trotting after the others. Sakura let out a heavy sigh.

Toshiro's mind wandered back to earlier that day when Sojiro had just showed up. Sojiro had decided to change the subject to something that they could both deal with--fighting. The younger Akisaka looked to his brother and said, "We're going to have to spar today...you know that right?" he asked.
Toshiro looked at him for a moment as if was crazy, "...why is that?" he asked.
Sojiro rolled his eyes.
"Because. We're brothers...and I want to see just how strong Konoha's Divine Lightning really is..." he replied.
Toshiro snapped back to the present and looked over at his wife at the last second, catching her look and smiled at her slightly as if to say, 'No need to worry.' He stepped out onto the front yard and backed up from Sojiro a good twenty five feet before getting ready for his first attack. He looked over at Sojiro who was grinning widely, having stepped into a stance. "...you seem rather confident." he said. Sojiro nodded in response before he thought of something. "Y'know...I've heard stories about you."
Toshiro smiled. "Really? Well, I suppose that's to be expected--"
"I was pretty impressed--but I don't think you could beat me." Sojiro interrupted.
Toshiro raised an eyebrow. "Really?" he asked before he let out a small laugh. "I guess we'll be seeing if that's true or not." he said before he charged forward toward his brother and threw a punch toward his nose. Sojiro quickly sidestepped the attack while hooked the arm at the elbow and attempted to flip him over onto his back.
"Shi-"
Toshiro managed to land on his feet with his back turned to Sojiro. He quickly spun around and threw a huge left hook that was quickly caught by Sojiro--it was like he already knew what was coming. The Akisaka was in a terrible position with his arms crossed over his chest with his wrists being held tightly by his brother who was now smirking.
"...a little slow, Toshiro."
Toshiro suddenly doubled over as a knee was brought into his stomach. He cursed himself mentally as he noticed that his arms were now free and there was a fist speeding towards his face. Sojiro had let go of his arms in order to take a shot at his brothers opening--and it worked. The uppercut landed directly on the face, knocking him backward a foot or so and onto his back.
"...ouch."
Toshiro sat up, rubbing the spot where he had been hit.
"...ready for round two, big bro?" Sojiro asked with a smile.

"Hn... Men. Of course Dad wanted to fight. Sojiro just asked for it, though." Sakura chuckled, folding her arms as she leaned against a tree outside the house. Her daughter had followed outdoors as well, and had procured a place in front of the tree for herself, plopping down in the grass and folding her legs beneath her; she watched with a detached interest as the two newly-reunited brothers went at it, friendly of course. Though it didn't stop her from mumbling what she had seconds ago.
---
"Should be the...next house. Unless he moved, which would suck." Hiromi paused, sighing lightly. "Eh, he probably stayed, the old rock. He never goes anywhere."
Passing by two houses, the man slowed his pace, noting the lack of wind blowing from his side, obstructed by a building; he'd counted the wind obstructions all the way from Naruto's building, a practice that had become second nature to him. Though as he approached the door, he paused, his hand lifted in mid-knock and hovering over the wood. The faint sounds of a tussle caught his ears, and he turned his head, an eyebrow lifted. "...Who's fighting in his backyard, of all places?" he asked aloud, though his voice was vague and distracted. A look of question, mingled with borderline concern, crossed his face, and he stepped down off the porch, going around to the yard where the sounds were coming from.
"...That's definately Toshiro," Hiromi muttered, his hands sliding into his pockets as he paused to listen, the sounds closer this time; "...They don't sound like horrible tussles, though; I don't think this is a serious fight. Just to be safe, though, I'll eavesdrop a bit closer..." And closer he moved, pausing just beyond a line of young trees and propping against one, leaning his head back and turning it toward the two sparring males; the other voice perplexed him, and he spent many long minutes attempting to (in vain) determine the person fighting with Toshiro.
"...Hn. I'll bother him when he's done with...whoever that unlucky soul is he's fighting."

Takashi raised an eyebrow as he watched his father get knocked to the ground. It had happened so fast that he hadn't had time to process it all. He watched as Toshiro stood back up and looked at his brother with a look that obviously said he was impressed.
Takashi rubbed his eyes.
"...did that really just happen?"
Sojiro looked over at Takashi and grinned. "...what did you expect? A pushover?" he asked before ducking underneath a punch from Toshiro and received a knee to his chin. Sojiro staggered backward but managed to regain his composure to sidestep away from another punch and retaliated with one of his own that caught Toshiro in the jaw and caused him to fall backward and skid several feet.
He would have gotten back up and retaliated...but when he looked up he noticed someone standing there.
"Hiromi!"
He jumped up and charged over--nearly tackling his friend. "It's great to see you! How was training!?" he exclaimed, looking excited.
Sojiro dropped his guard and grinned slightly. "We'll have to continue this another time. I know when a reunion is happening." he said as he watched Takashi make his way over as well, happy to see the man.

Surprisingly, Hiromi was caught somewhat off guard by the sudden "attack". He'd considered himself very well hidden against the tree; then again, it was hard for him to tell without further inspection.
The sudden thundering footsteps were the first indication. Hiromi blinked, stiffening and standing straight, away from the tree. His eyebrows lifted over his grey eyes, and he stood as a startled deer--up until he felt another body crash into his. His feet barely had time to gather balance, though he somehow did it, laughing now at the voice that had yelled his name. "Toshiro!" he exclaimed back, stumbling back a few feet and regaining his composure, embracing his friend in a tight hug. He stepped back, gaze ahead, though it still seemed he was studying the man. "I didn't mean to interrupt your...sparring?" He jerked a thumb in Sojiro's general direction, still aware of the man's presence. "I was going to wait until you were done..."

Toshiro shrugged. "Eh, it was going to end in a draw anyway.." he said. He glanced over at Sojiro with a small smirk on his face before looking back to Hiromi. "So...how are you!? How was training!? What did you learn!?" he asked in rapid fire succession. He paused for a moment before laughing--realizing how spastic he was being. "Let's head inside and we can catch up, okay?" he asked before looking to the rest of the family.
"Shall we?"
With that out of the way, Toshiro, Takashi, and Sojiro all made their way back into the house. Toshiro stood at the door, waiting for Hiromi to follow suit into the house. "We've got a whole lot to talk about, man!" he cried out, grinning from ear to ear. He looked over at Sojiro, noticing the confused expression his face. "Oh! Introductions will be made shortly, Sojiro...don't worry." he said with a small laugh.

Rather than be overwhelmed by the rambling questions, Hiromi seemed gladdened by them, his smile turning into a wider grin. Such simple things he'd missed. A simple year was long enough to miss loved ones, but four was even worse. It's good to be home, that's for sure... he thought, pausing and giving Toshiro a nod at the suggestion that they go inside. He followed after them, hesitating courteously at the door until the light footsteps of the women passed into the house. He walked in lastly. "Did you become a gentleman while you were gone, Hiromi?" Sakura asked jokingly, settling into a seat in the family room; Sayuri plopped down nearby. Hiromi laughed, shrugging and scratching the back of his head. "I guess... I learned a lot of stuff while I was gone."
Hiromi fell silent as Toshiro addressed his brother, and his blank gaze traveled to the man, following Toshiro's voice. "Ah... Sojiro," he said afterward; "That must be your name. I'm Hiromi. I am curious, though... Who are you to have gotten a sparring session out of my friend here? He doesn't do that with just anyone." Sayuri's eyes flitted to her father; she was curious at what Hiromi's reaction would be to the answer.

Toshiro was quiet for a moment or two before he decided to speak. "This is my brother, Sojiro." he started. "He came here to warn us about an attack from Kumo that's probably going to happen pretty soon." he added in a tone calmer than was probably normal. He looked over at Takashi who was giving him an odd look. "What?" he asked.
Takashi shook his head. "...you're taking this all rather well."
Toshiro shrugged. "It's either this or my head exploding...and I don't feel like the latter today." he said before looking back to Sojiro. "Sojiro, this is a friend of ours. He's just got back from a four year trip. Try and be polite..." he stated after a moment, trying to change the subject. The sibling nodded. "Yeah sure. But does he have a problem looking people in the eye or something?" he asked.
"...oh shit." Takashi facepalmed.

Hiromi blinked, the answer causing him obvious surprise. He turned his head toward Toshiro, his mouth curling into an uncertain smirk. "You never told me you had a brother," he said, but paused as Sojiro spoke.
"But does he have a problem looking people in the eye or something?"
Sakura covered her mouth, hiding a fought smile. It was hardly funny, but at the same time... No, it was funny. This one had a mouth on him. First his outburst at the door, and now this. Hiromi, however, laughed, and heartily at that. His surprise washed away, a smile crossing his face. "I do, actually," he replied; "I can't really see much of anything. I've been blind since I was a child." Though this was said, he crossed the room and settled into a chair easily.
"Great job..." Sayuri muttered under her breath, though she was equally amused.

Toshiro shrugged slightly. "I didn't even know, myself."
Sojiro's eyes widened as he realized the ignorant comment that he had let slip from his mouth. He could have hit himself several times with a large blunt object and still would have felt bad. He opened his mouth to say something but hesitated--scared that he would spout more idiocy. Finally after convincing himself he started apologizing. "GAH! Sorry! I'm so sorry! REALLY REALLY SORRY!' he cried out.
Takashi scratched the back of his head and looked over at Toshiro. "...you can certainly tell he's your brother..." he said with a smirk. Toshiro raised an eyebrow, "Now what's that supposed to mean!?" he asked. He rolled his eyes when his son simply shook his head. "Nothing, dad. Nothing..."
After about the hundredth apology, Sojiro finally decided to say something else. "...it's...nice to meet a friend of my brothers."

Hiromi seemed as though he'd explode with laughter at any moment. He doubled over in his seat, chuckling and restraining himself best he could. He sat up, wiping his watering eyes and shaking his head. "It's fine, really," he said through fits of giggles; "I get that a lot to tell you the truth. I don't really consider it a disability; I can see more than most sighted people sometimes."
