Ashitaka felt his hands clench into fists, his jaw tightening as he watched Naruto slowly gain the upper hand in the fight. This was so illogical; why was his father losing to someone that used clones to do his dirty work? Why was he losing? The fact that the question had to be asked made Ashitaka nearly livid. He shifted his feet a tiny bit, tempted to move toward the fray.
"I wouldn't, Uchiha brat," said a gruff voice from nearby. Ashitaka glared to his left, his eyes settling on a jounin glaring back at him. "You were told to stay out of it, and you know what'll happen if you don't." The man smirked very slightly, and Ashitaka's glare darkened on him, his hands curling again; he wanted badly to knock the man's smug face clean off, but he knew the entire village would round on him if he even touched the shinobi. "Be a good boy and let Daddy learn his place." Ashitaka turned his gaze away from the man gradually, his eyebrows furrowed into angry lines over his eyes. "Teme... You're really pushing your luck..." he hissed under his breath. The jounin laughed loudly. "Right. Look, kid, the only reason we haven't stomped you into the dirt is because the Hokage said not to touch you; I don't know why, a foul-tempered brat like you deserves to have some sense beat into him." It was Ashitaka's turn to smirk. "Tell that to the ones that fell at my feet when I came here," he retorted, his eyes turning back to the fight; the man scoffed, falling silent. Ashitaka's satisfaction was very short-lived, however, as the battle had turned once more in the favor of Naruto. Sasuke had been completely locked to the ground by mere clones while the real Naruto moved to strike again. Ashitaka groaned, an almost inaudible sound, unable to stand it. Before he even knew it, his feet were moving; quickly, the young man lunged forward, kicking the jounin away from him as the man made to grab him. He turned back around, dashing toward Naruto quickly as he could. Sasuke, straining against the clone's grasp, turned his head, his attention caught by a flash of blue and grey. "ASHITAKA!" the man bellowed, a mixed look of surprise and anger crossing his face; "I told you to stay OUT of this!" He struggled more against the clone-bindings with the extra incentive.
Ashitaka's anger allowed him to ignore his father's yells, as well as his own blind actions. He flipped a kunai around in his hand and took a final leap toward Naruto from the man's side, weapon poised and eyes flashing a dangerous red.
"ASHITAKA!"

Naruto, fully focused on Sasuke, was paying no attention to Ashitaka's advance. For a brief moment, it seemed as though the attack on the Hokage was going to be successful....but only for a moment. Lightning struck mere feet to the right of Ashitaka as a distraction, but coming coming in on the left, there was a new arrival on the scene. Using the shunshin technique to gain speed, the Hokage's savior threw a massive straight punch to Ashitaka's jaw. Straightening up and showing his face, a few of the Jonin took notice of who had shown up. "Akisaka Takashi!" one of them said, sighing in relief.
Takashi glared at Ashitaka.
"I don't know what the hell you think you're doing...but I'm not going to let you lay a FINGER on the Hokage." he stated. He glanced over at Naruto and almost sighed--the man had left himself vulnerable to attack by not paying attention to what was going on. He must have really been focused on this fight. Either that, or he had thought that he could fight without the need to look over his shoulder. If that was the case--Takashi was now utterly pissed off. "I'm guessing you had orders to stay put...and you said screw it and went ahead and attacked anyway. You must not have very much faith in that man, huh?"
He shook his head.
"At any rate...this is between the Hokage and that man--if you want to taste dirt so badly...you can fight me instead."
Naruto, having paid no attention to anything other than Sasuke, had continued his attack. Reaching back, he swung his arm around and attempted a vicious elbow strike to the side of Sasuke's head. At the same time, the shadow clone tilted his head back and then threw it forward, attempting to headbutt the Uchiha in the back of the head, keeping the bear hug locked tightly in place.

Ashitaka's weapon dropped from his hand as a sudden attack came from his side; a fist drove into his face, and he was sent off sideways, skidding a small way in the dirt. He sat up, wiping the side of his mouth where he'd been hit. His eyes landed on a new figure standing a short way away glaring at him; this one seemed to be about his age. The Uchiha returned the nasty look, getting to his feet slowly. "Tch... What do you think you're doing?" he retorted, fists curling; "This has absolutely nothing to do with you." Briefly, Ashitaka looked toward Naruto, narrowing his eyes; he had been so close.
Sasuke had had enough. With curled fists, he strained again, but to no avail; for a clone, this one had a mighty grip. The man shook away the stars as he felt something strike the back of his head, and a sudden idea struck him, causing him both relief and embarrassment; why hadn't he thought of this before?
Gritting his teeth, Sasuke suddenly lifted both his legs, using the clone holding him for support, and kicked out at Naruto's abdomen; in the same moment, he jerked his head back, attempting to knock the clone in the face.

"You come into MY village...and attack my leader while his back is TURNED and say it's got nothing to do with me?" Takashi scoffed. "This has everything to do with me." he replied. "It's my job as a shinobi of this village to protect Konoha and the Hokage at all costs...if you wanted me to stay out of it...you should have stayed where you were to begin with." He unbuttoned the jacket he had been wearing and threw it aside--paying no attention as it fell to the ground and got trampled on as people moved around the area.
He narrowed his eyes.
"You have two choices. Walk away..."
He jerked his thumb back to gesture to himself.
"Or get your ass kicked by yours truly--take your pick."
Several of the other shinobi around them started mumbling, clearly pretty apprehensive to stick around for this. "...I watched the kid incinerate an entire squad of rogue ninja. He starts flinging around that plasma and I'm gone." he heard someone say--attempting to be quiet but failing pretty badly. He kept his eyes on Ashitaka, waiting for him to make a decision. He had no sympathy for what was going to happen to him...it was his own fault for attacking the Hokage from behind. "...what's it going to be? If you don't choose quickly...I'm going to do it for you."
"Gah!"
The shadow clone staggered backward and disappeared in a plume of smoke. Naruto felt his punch connect, but did not linger. He noticed Sasuke's legs stirring and quickly avoided the kick, having sidestepped from the attack and using the momentum to spin about and throw a roundhouse kick right as the clone staggered backward, missing it by centimeters. His leg whizzed past the clone and headed straight for the back of Sasuke's head.

"Well... Since you're so confident..." Ashitaka said slowly, "I'll choose option number two." A smirk played across his face, and he jabbed a thumb at his chest mockingly. "Where you get your ass kicked by yours truly."
Sasuke, ducking to dodge Naruto's attack, took a moment in the pause in combat to look over at his son. "You got yourself into this, Ashitaka," he called out angrily; "I expect you to get yourself out of it just as easily." Ashitaka's smirk faded, a steely look covering his face as he turned his gaze from Sasuke to Takashi. He shifted into a fighting stance. "Come, then, if you're so eager to be made a fool of in front of your precious leader."
Sasuke turned his attention back to Naruto quickly, leaping into the air and sending a spinning kick of his own toward the side of the man's face. Whether it struck or not, Sasuke wasted no time in leaping back a good bit, putting distance between them. "I've had enough of you," he spat, weaving quick handsigns and stooping down, pressing both his hands flat against the ground. An eagle screech pierced the air again, and two streams of electricity darted toward Naruto from both sides, shrieking and tearing up the ground in places as they went. Go on, run... Sasuke thought, his crimson eyes narrowing on Naruto.

"No no...I think you misunderstood. Option number two involved YOU getting your ass kicked by ME. Kami, you really are stupid, aren't you?" Takashi sighed slightly, this guy was going to have to pay for even thinking of attacking Naruto. He raised an eyebrow at his last comment. "...you're mistaken again. You're the one who's going to be made a fool of--just like you were earlier." he stated before making a few handsigns. Lightning crashed down in front of him and when it disappeared, he was gone.
Behind a building, Takashi made a few more handsigns. "Raiton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" he mumbled and created two Lightning Clones. The two clones shunshined off, leaving Takashi to make more handsigns. Electricity crackled around his legs before he shunshined off after the clones. Out of nowhere, lightning would crash down to the left of Ashitaka.
"Got you!"
One of the clones appeared to the right of the boy, throwing a straight punch to his jaw. Though, his arrival was hidden with the lightning, the other clone had made his way up to the left, throwing a right hook to Ashitaka's ribcage. Takashi shunshined to a position about twenty meters in front of Ashitaka, waiting for his reaction to this attack.
Naruto dodged the kick by ducking underneath it. Without much time to think, he quickly formed the handsign and created about fifty shadowclones. Using the large quantity at the front as shields to slow down his seemingly impending doom, three of the shadow clones stood and held out their hands down low. Naruto quickly charged toward them and jumped onto their outstretched palms before they quickly heaved upward and tossed him through the air and over the streams of electricity. Making more handsigns, he created two more shadow clones.
Still in the air, Naruto held out his hand and started to form his signature technique. "Futon: Rasenshuriken!" he shouted out before throwing it toward Sasuke.

The younger Uchiha raised an eyebrow briefly at Takashi's responses, his head tilting a bit. "...Real clever comebacks you have there," he replied, his body tensing with the air; "Let's hope your fighting isn't as lame as your tongue."
Ashitaka's eyes flashed, watching intently even as Takashi disappeared from sight. Rather than panicked, his gaze moved slowly around the area; his eyes monitored every bit of movement they came across, lingering on the unimportant disturbances for only the briefest of moments. I have to keep my cool during this... he thought, exhaling slowly; Attacking in a rage like that was foolish on my part. He won't hit me like that a second time... Ah, here we are.
Ashitaka's feet shifted slightly, bracing himself; if this one was quick enough to disappear out of sight like that, he was going to have to be careful about where he stepped. "You're a quick one..." he said, his eyes darting to each of them in turn; the lightning was a bit blinding, but there was still enough time. Three... Lifting his arm, he used his elbow to deflect the attack to his face. His eyes shifted again, this time to the other clone. Two... Ashitaka twisted and doubled a bit; the blow hit, but thanks to his posture and movement, the worst of it was absorbed. The Uchiha leapt upward, quickly kicking at the clones' faces, one at a time. As he landed his red eyes shifted again, where they narrowed on Takashi. One.
Sasuke's jaw tightened visibly. He quickly lifted his hands from the ground, electricity circling around his fingers before it crackled out of existence. He lifted his gaze and straightened, his eyes following Naruto as he descended, that accursed technique in hand. For a moment he stood still there, eyes locked on the Hokage. Suddenly, in a flash of grey and white, he was off to the side, ducking low to avoid the splitting winds as they lashed overhead. Shifting immediately, Sasuke pushed off from the ground, leaping upward and aiming a hefty blow toward Naruto's jaw.
---
Keiji heaved an immense sigh, leaning against the wall and peering out the window. For a while he merely stood there, leaning as close to the glass as he could in an attempt to spot the eagle that had been left in charge. However, there had been no sight of the bird for a good while.
Keiji's dark eyes narrowed.
The boy leaned forward, pushing against the glass and lifting the window quietly; he flinched as it gave a particularly loud creak, half-expecting the eagle to come dashing out of his hiding place. When the eagle didn't appear, Keiji breathed a small sigh of relief, lifting one of his legs and climbing onto the window sill; his movements were as quiet as he could make them, moving slowly and wordlessly blessing the singing birds outside for masking sound. He landed softly outside on the grass, careful to not move his injured arm any more than was necessary. However, as he turned to start toward the trees, he walked right into a massive fluffy wall. The eagle cleared his throat, looking down at Keiji and shaking his head. "I am sorry, fledgeling," he said, his tone sincerely apologetic; "I cannot allow you to leave your home. Your father--" "You don't understand though," the boy interrupted, gesturing with his good arm toward the woods; "I have to--" "No, little one," the eagle retorted, his tone conveying finality; "You are injured; it is too dangerous for you to go off on your own." Keiji glared harshly, his expression pained and frustrated. With his good arm, he beat a fist against the eagle's breast; the bird, large as he was, merely watched the boy. Keiji repeated the action several times, each strike becoming weaker. Finally the boy let his arm drop, and he leaned forward into the eagle's feathery down, his shoulders shuddering a bit; he was crying softly.
"I..." he trailed off, pausing to catch his breath; "It's...it's my fault that any of this happened... They're going to get hurt...everyone is going to get hurt...because of me... Because I didn't listen..." The eagle's brow furrowed, and he released a sigh, lifting a wing and wrapping it around the boy in comfort.
((So. I actually watched some videos. I should be somewhat stable.))

Takashi watched as his opponent retaliated against his lightning clones. Instead of dodging the attacks, they simply took the full force of the attacks--but that had been the plan from the very beginning. When Ashitaka made contact with the clones, they would disperse into an electrical discharge--turning back into the very element they were forged from. Having been in contact with the clones, Takashi knew that there was no running from it--it was a point blank attack.
Though...it was nothing fatal.
The attack was basically just a warning--to allow this guy to understand just what he had gotten himself into. The attack had enough force to knock him backwards and numb a good portion of his body for several seconds....whether or not Takashi would use that time to follow up with an attack (should his technique work) was not yet decided.
Naruto watched as Sasuke leapt toward him--his eyes widened, realizing that there wasn't really a way to change his course in mid jump. Just as the Uchiha drew closer to him, one of his shadow clones had grabbed hold of his feet, having been launched into the air himself. He pulled down with all of his might and kept him out of Sasuke's reach.
"That was a close one.."
As Naruto dropped, he quickly formed handsigns and thrusted his arms forward toward the Uchiha. A large concentrated force of wind would speed towards the Uchiha--invisible. If it collided with him, it would push him backward and give Naruto some space to plan out something a little more strategic. It had been a long time since the last time the two of them had fought...but he knew that there was no room for slacking here.
