Episode Two!
An Impossible Challenge!
Fate has a funny way of kicking the door in and busting in on you like you were Taylor Swift at the VMA's. Previously, our hero was in the middle of telling his girlfriend Elyse that he loved her. In the middle of his heartfelt declaration of love, he wasowned...sucker punched by some type of bandit.
But money or expensive jewelry wasn't what he was after. Toshiro couldn't get that lucky. They were after Elyse for some reason unknown to Toshiro. After being attacked by several of the man's friends, he was left in a small pool of his own blood.
The moment he woke up he made a split second decision and gave chase following the footprints the idiots had decided not to cover up. This...is where our story picks up.
"Hey, Yorohashii...what are we going to do if that guy decides to come after his girl?" One of Yorohashii's cohorts had asked.
Yorohashii smirked slightly, "How can he? I told Nobuhara to get rid of our tracks."
"Uhhh, boss....about that...." said Nobuhara.
Yorohashii narrowed his eyes and looked in the man's direction, as if daring to continue. Had he really forgotten to do as he was told so that shinobi couldn't give chase!? What the hell were they going to do if he decided bring friends along!?
"...Nobuhara....you better not tell me you forgot to cover up our tracks..."
"Ok. I won't tell you."
"..."
Several seconds went by as Yorohashii stopped and stared at him. He raised his hand.
WHAM!

"You've put us all in an extremely bad position, Nobuhara. What are we going to do if he comes back with company?" asked Yorohashii.[/font]
Nobuhara looked dumbfounded. He had no answer to his leaders question. He had already used the 'I was dropped on my head' excuse last week...so it wasn't going to fly. He sighed...and simply shrugged.
Yorohashii raised his hand again, causing Nobuhara to flinch. The man rolled his eyes and looked around.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there, I suppose."[/font] he said.[/font]
Elyse opened her eyes as she came to. The last thing she remembered was shouting Toshiro's name as he fell to the ground. She had been slung over the shoulder of one of the men and apparently hadn't been tied up. Were they really that stupid?
"She's awake...put her down, Saito. She can walk the rest of the way." Yorohashii said.
Saito, the man who had been carrying Elyse, nodded slightly and dropped her to the ground. Elyse landed on her backside with a light thud. He pulled her leg back and let her foot fly. Her aim was true...as it landed directly between his legs, causing him to drop not a second later.
She jumped to her feet and took off in the opposite direction they had been walking. Escape was a definite long shot, but the woman had not abandoned all hope just yet. But she would have to make this count for it was likely her only chance at escape. Spotting one of Yorohashii's men ten meters away, she quickly turned to avoid him.
Unfortunately she turned right into the clutches of Yorohashii himself.
"She's got a lot of fight in her..." said Saito, watching her kick and scratch at the man who had captured her.
"Nothing I can't handle..."replied Yorohashii, smirking at her.
"Let me go!"she shouted.
"...We went through all the trouble of taking you...and you think we're just gonna let you go because you told us to?"
"Toshiro will be coming for me! You'll be sorry!"
Yorohashii smirked. She had a lot of faith in the guy who had been so easily beaten. He sighed slightly as she continued on about this Toshiro and how he was going to make them all pay. After about a minute or two he had had enough.
He raised his hand...
You know that bridge that Yorohashii had talked about crossing when they got there? Well, they were going to cross it a lot sooner than they had expected.
A kunai whizzed past Yorohashii's ear and sunk into the back of one of his henchman's skulls who immediately dropped. Yorohashii turned around to see Toshiro standing about eighty meters away....by himself.[/color]
"TOSHIRO!"shouted Elyse.
Toshiro looked over at Elyse before he looked over to Yorohashii. He narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.
"Let Elyse go...or you're going to have a lot of dead henchmen to replace."[/color]
Yorohashii laughed.
"Without help? You think you can save your little girlfriend all by yourself!? Listen you fool...this isn't some silly story with a cliched ending where the hero fights impossible odds and saves the day. Thanks to your incompetence...you will die today."
Toshiro sighed. How did that saying go? Quality of quantity? It wouldn't matter how many men Yorohashii threw at Toshiro. He would take down every single thing that stood in the way of Elyse's safety. He looked at Elyse and gave her a reassuring smile to tell her everything would be ok.
He began to formulate a plan in his head. There were at least twelve men there including Yorohashii, so he would have to act quickly. He could either blind them with his Endless Light Genjutsu or use his Powerline technique to electrocute them. He smirked slightly as he pulled out a roll of ninja wire from his pack before making handsigns. Not a second later, he began to channel raiton chakra into the wire.

He dropped the wire to the ground and began to manipulate it. As it started to unravel, he made more handsigns. After that was completed, the wire pierced the ground and began to travel through it. Those idiots wouldn't know what hit them.

Yorohashii watched as Toshiro made handsigns. What was he up to? He started to open his mouth to tell his group to be careful by the time he started, it was too late. The wire shot up from the ground and quickly made it's way around a large portion of the group.
The moment it touched them, they began to scream out in pain. Toshiro charged forward toward the others that hadn't been wrapped up in the wire. Toshiro ducked under a dagger on it's way to meet him. He activated the wrist blade he had and quickly jammed it into the man's neck before using his body to block another dagger.
He dropped the body and quickly turned, elbowing another man in the jaw, and following up with a left hook, knocking the man out cold. He unsheathed his katana and parried an attack from another. He sidestepped a lunge from the same man and used that opening to dispatch of him rather violently.
The only three that managed to avoid all the destruction were Saito, Nobuhara, and Yorohashii. Saito and Nobuhara were standing in front of Yorohashii who was holding Elyse. The two men looked absolutely mortified at what had taken place. A large majority of their comrades had been electrocuted into submission and the rest had been disposed of by a blade.
Was this really the same man they had met in the forest!?
"...What are you!?" asked Yorohashii.
"I am a shinobi from Kumogakure no Sato. More importantly....I'm someone who's had something I care very deeply about threatened."
He watched them for a moment, knowing how confused they were. He had seen like such a pushover earlier. So why were things different now?
"I'm sure you're probably asking yourselves how this happened. And I assure that you wont believe or understand my answer. Strength is useless unless you have something to protect. If you love someone...you will do all in your power to protect them. That is when true strength is shown."
He paused.
"You have in your hands...the one person I love more than anything in this world. I will fight until my very last breath to get her back. I don't care how many of your subordinates I have to kill."
Yorohashii smirked.
"Then by all means...do what you must."
He pulled out a smoke bomb and set it off, clouding Toshiro's vision. He quickly slung Elyse over his shoulder and took off yet again, laughing maniacally.
"Looks like you lose again!"
When the smoke cleared, Toshiro stood about thirty feet away from Nobuhara and Saito. Toshiro narrowed his eyes as the two of them exchanged glances. They nodded to eachother before charging toward him. Toshiro activated his wrist blade and stabbed Saito in the neck before backhanding Nobuhara.
He grabbed Nobuhara by the shirt and held the blade to his throat.
"Tell me where he's going and I might not kill you."
Nobuhara's eyes widened as he began to realize what was happening. He didn't want to die.
"We have a camp set up about three miles to the north. That's where we were going before you stopped us."
Toshiro let him go and turned to walk away. He stopped for a moment, looking as if here was thinking about something. He turned back around and punched Nobuhara in jaw. Satisfied for the moment...Toshiro set off to rescue his beloved Elyse.[/size][/blockquote][/b]
